Meitu is a simple photo retouch application that's designed to help users modify pictures with almost no effort at all. Unlike a full-featured photo editing package, Meitu provides a very simple interface with relatively few tools. Rather than try to offer dozens of options and filters, the app is focused on doing a few things very well.

An overwhelming majority of users won't need much more than this anyway. You can eliminate blemishes, smooth out rough lines and even hide wrinkles on people in your images simply by selecting them and tapping on a few convenient tools. Once you have a closeup loaded in Meitu's editing window, you'll also be given the option of performing what's known as a virtual face-lift.

This feature allows you to trim the sides of the person's face and make them appear thinner while also giving them a longer visage in the process. It's a great option for those who are trying to edit magazine pages or post photos to social media.

Professional photographers might even want to use it to create more attractive online digital photo albums. Meitu integrates well with several social picture sharing sites, which makes it an even more attractive option for those who primarily use their cameras for this kind of work.

All it takes to share pictures is a single click. Meitu will automatically post them on several popular social media accounts. You're free to pick from around 50 filters and a number of backgrounds. There's even a built-in FX tool that can clean up photos for you and make even some blurry shots look at least passable.
